Downtown Buena Vista is beautiful, and great for walking around, they have several shops, and great places to grab food!
Mount Princeton Hot Springs
The Hot Springs, only a 10 minute drive from Buena Vista, is the perfect place to relax, or just take a swim with the kiddos!

Salida is a 30 minute drive from Buena Vista, but it is well worth the drive. 50 Burger, has great food, and their downtown is also a beautiful place to spend an afternoon.
