It all started on Hinge. Two dates in, and Danny already knew. Deep into their fourth bottle of soju, he looked Emily dead in the eye and said, “You are the one.” Emily, the skeptic, ended things after that night. Because how could someone be so sure, so soon… and still be sane? But Danny wasn’t letting go that easily. He came up with a big bold plan: To find Emily at Burning Man and win her over. Everyone thought it was impossible, but he was convinced it would work. Against all odds, he did find her. But the first attempt to approach her... she ran off. The second time...No sparks. And third? Nothing. The desert had a way of humbling even the most confident of men. Then came the second to last night. The energy was buzzing at an Above & Beyond set, stardust in the air. Emily was wandering solo when she suddenly spotted Danny and his friends, right in front of her. She paused, watched him, and something unspoken clicked into place. The universe had sent enough signs. Maybe, she thought, it was time to give him another chance. And she’s glad she did. Turns out, they are the same person, sharing same values, same dreams, and a mutual obsession with karaoke and travel. Since that day about three years ago, it’s been a wild ride, working remotely and exploring over fifteen countries together, surviving long distance with endless FaceTime calls, and most importantly, building a life together rooted in good food and even better vibes. Every one of you has played a role in our story. And now, we can’t wait to bring our worlds together in one of our favorite places to celebrate, Mexico City!
