If you go to just one Oregon Coast town, it should be this one! The Oregon coast is windy, so if you bring kids take them to Pinky's Kite Factory. Hit up Bill's Tavern for some good fish & chips, chowder, and beer. Try to walk it all off hiking to Indian Beach or around Ecola State Park (breathtaking views).
Emily first came for the architecture (the building is designed by Olson Kundig Architects), but stayed too long for the cheese and ice cream.
