Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5pm on Sunday, October 12, 2025. The location is Big Ridge State Park Recreation Hall, located at 1015 Big Ridge Park Road, Maynardville, TN 37807. Reception to follow at the same location.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony so that everyone can be seated on time. The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm, so please plan to arrive by 4:30pm. Also, keep in mind it takes a few minutes to walk to the venue after you park.

Where do we park?

Answer

There is parking by the Park Office/Visitor center. It is a short walk to the Rec Hall from the parking area and will take a few minutes. Please keep this in mind to be seated on time for the ceremony!

Will there be food?

Answer

Calhouns will be catering dinner. Please text Emily or Will with any dietary restrictions or allergies by the RSVP deadline and we will work with Calhouns to accommodate.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We will be serving and providing red and white wine.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by no later than September 14, 2025.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones are put away during the ceremony. There will be a professional taking photos during this time. We will share all of the professional photos with whoever wants them when we receive them. Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like AFTER the ceremony!

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

We plan to have the ceremony outside and reception/dinner inside. This is dependent on weather and is subject to change.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

If you receive a plus one, it will specify on your invitation. We will only have enough space for guests specified on the invitations.

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire is preferred. Women/girls: dresses, jumpsuits, dressy top with skirt, heels, flats or dressy boots. Men/boys: collared shirt with dress pants, blazers, ties, loafers, dress shoes.

Can I wear a white dress?

Preferably, no.
