We’re getting married!

Life has a funny way of bringing people together, and our story is proof of that. Who would have thought a girl from Aspendale Gardens would end up falling head over heels for a boy from Berwick? We went to the same high school but only crossed paths once—just one fleeting moment in the famous corridor. That was all it took for Emily to turn to a mate and ask, "Who the hell is that?"—only to find out he was the same guy she’d turned down a month earlier. Fate clearly had other plans! From that moment on, we were inseparable. Movie dates, footy games, countless parties, and our school formal—it all felt effortless. Ryan had never met anyone like Emily before and was captivated from the start. And for Emily? Well, it was impossible not to fall for Ryan’s piercing blue eyes, his golden Dutch tan, and, of course, his never-ending height. Over the past nine years, we’ve built a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. From travelling the world together to welcoming our two incredible dogs, Evie and Archie (because two years into dating clearly wasn’t too soon for fur babies), to buying our first home—it’s been a whirlwind, and we wouldn’t change a thing. One of our most cherished moments? Getting engaged on the stunning island of Crete, Greece. And now, our next chapter brings us back to where it all became official. With the people we love most by our side, we’ll be saying “I do” in our favourite place in the world, Crete. We truly can’t wait to celebrate with all of you—it’s going to be a few days to remember!
