We 'met' online (then in person) at the end of 2013. Over the next few years, there were graduations, career changes, new friends, and the addition of Piper to the family. In 2018, a move to all be under the same roof finally happened where we were able to enjoy our shared hobbies of motorcycle rides, pizza, and giving Piper the best life. 2020 brought challenges and triumphs, but also a wonderful day in September when Emily said yes to forever with Duncan's elaborate proposal!

Emily woke up on the morning of September 19th to a walkie-talkie with Duncan's voice saying "It's time for Operation Engagement!" After following instructions to go into the kitchen and make her coffee, Emily found her first clue that would lead her around the house. The final clue at home was to get dressed and ready for a day of adventures! After finding the next clue from our friends' (and Alabama Allies) yard, Emily headed to the Townhouse Restaurant in Oviedo to meet her next clue. She and another friend in disguise shared breakfast together, before the next clue took her to the Williams home. The final clue was a FaceTime call to our dog-niece Jackson, sending Emily to Piper's favorite place, the dog park. Once she finally arrives, Piper meets her at the gate with a bandana that reads "Will You Marry my Dad?" Duncan walks over, drops to his knee, and asks the question everyone was waiting for: "Did you see Piper's bandana?" It was the perfect day, and we can't wait to celebrate another one with all of our loved ones!
