My (Emily) sweet sister's uplifting spirit has brought me through so much! I can lean on her through any storm to feel both comfort and encouragement; Kasi always finds a way to protect me from harm while still granting me the courage to face any challenge. Favorite memories: swimming in Hawaii, Valley View, the Philippines, and San Diego! We always have the best time in the water, getting to step into our inner children by having pure fun in the sun.

Jerome and I (Jordan) knew each other from high school, but college is where our friendship really took off. We've shared so many experiences, it's hard to pick a favorite! One that sticks out is from our freshman year of college. Let's just say someone (not mentioning any names) attempted a late-night microwave meal that ended in a small fire at 2:00 am! The other one (also staying silent on this) heroically put it out, and then we just sat there laughing. In the end, it could have been a disaster, but we live to tell the tale.

Allie has known me (Emily) since I was a teenager and has loved me through of MANY seasons of my life. Her unshakable loyalty and huge heart is inspiring to everyone that meets her. Favorite memories: Going from club rats to career women! We navigate adulthood hand in hand while still leaving room to just be girls together.

Caralyn is my (Emily) sorority sister and one of my closest confidants. She is truly the smartest and funniest person I know! I can trust her with anything in the world without a fear of judgement. Favorite memories: Being President & VP together during our graduating semester of undergrad, and getting engaged right after each other last year!

Devonte wasn't just my (Emily's) first college friend, he was an anchor in such a defining chapter of my life. His infectious enthusiasm, unwavering support, and genuine spirit have solidified him as the true definition of a friend. Everybody needs a Devonte in their life! Favorite memories: being dorm buddies in undergrad and travelling overseas together after we graduated. Clark Sharks forever!

Though Luis is Jordan's fraternity brother, I (Emily) knew him before I met Jordan! We got to work together in college through our leadership positions and became friends through social events we led. Luis lends a friendship that is like no other, he is always ready to listen and bring me back to Earth when I am in needing of grounding. Favorite memories: Luis was the first person I facetimed when I suspected Jordan was going to propose! He always helps me sort through my thoughts when my mind is going a mile a minute.

Mariska is my (Emily) baby cousin. Getting to watch her grow into a successful, wildly talented young woman has been one of the biggest blessings of my life. I fully believe that she is going to change the world one day! Favorite memory: We graduated together last year! We had a joint celebration to commemorate her high school diploma and my master's degree (see, she turned out fine after I dropped her as a baby).

Tyler and I (Jordan) became friends our sophomore year of college. We rushed Phi Mu Alpha together and created a bond of brotherhood that is still going strong! One of my favorite memories with Tyler is when he drove from Houston to San Antonio to take me to see SZA for my birthday.

Austin and I (Jordan) go way back - we've been buddies since kindergarten! We've been best pals ever since, even though I pulled his hair back then, allegedly. Having a friend like Austin for over 20 years has been incredible. One of my top memories is definitely our off-roading adventure in his new Jeep.

When I (Jordan) was in middle school, I remember my mom saying some of the neighborhood hooligans started a fire in someone's yard. Thus enters Big Chris into my life! We carpooled to band practice together and eventually grew our bond through video games and more childhood shenanigans. My favorite memories with Chris are the times we would simply ride around and listen to music together.

Daniel was one of the first friends I (Jordan) made during my time at UNT. We met on the last day of orientation and decided to take a piano class together. Soon after our friendship began, we spent lots of time hanging out in me & Jerome’s dorm. Daniel is a deeply talented jack of all trades and master of all - photography, digital music, guitar, percussion, singing animation, art, acting, coding, math, the list goes on and on! My favorite memory with Daniel is the first road trip we took to San Antonio for a percussion convention...but we ended up just hanging out around the city instead.

I (Jordan) became Joel's Big as he was rushing Phi Mu Alpha. I'm extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to connect with someone who became a brother to me. My favorite memories with Joel are from the Linden house hangouts, even the most ordinary moments were filled with laughter and true friendship!

Julio and I (Jordan) met in high school band where we both played Tuba, and we got to play together in college as well! He always has my back and is consistently an amazing friend. My favorite memory with Julio has to be all of our long trips we took between Denton and Houston, as we caught each other up on our day to day lives.

When I (Jordan) was a junior in high school, I met Justin, a freshman. Somehow, our paths crossed, and an unlikely friendship blossomed organically. It wasn't a grand gesture or a specific event; our connection just formed. Over time, Justin became more like a brother to me, someone I can always count on. One of my favorite memories with Justin is when we saw Tyler, The Creator concert back in 2015.
