Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. All invited individuals will be listed when you go to RSVP. We encourage you to use this as a date night, and appreciate your understanding!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st, 2024. If you have issues with the website or need to discuss potential conflicts, please reach out to Emily or Andrew before or by August 1st!

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

YES! Please RSVP by August 1st, 2024 to ensure you have a seat at our reception. If you do not RSVP, and choose to attend anyways, you will not be provided with dinner or drinks, and will not have a place to sit. Please, please, please RSVP by August 1st or reach out to Emily or Andrew.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have a hotel block at the Courtyard Marriot in downtown Springfield that must be booked by May 31st. If there are no rooms available or you would prefer to stay somewhere else, we recommend looking at the "Travel" tab on this website!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests that have been formally invited and are listed on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will be listed under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, which means no phones or cameras during our ceremony. The best thing you can do for us is be fully present when we say "I do"! We have hired professionals to capture the moment for us, and fully believe they will do an amazing job, and it will be easier for them if there are not guests with phones out during the ceremony. We promise to share our photos as soon as we get them! At the reception, feel free to take as many pictures or videos as you would like!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day! Dress code is semi-formal attire. If you have further questions please reach out to Emily or Andrew! No jeans or white please!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start at 4pm. Please arrive by 3:45pm to ensure that you are able to find a seat before we begin.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, three specialty cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages are on us!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! You will find our registry under the "registry" tab on this website!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! If you have an allergy, please reach out to Emily at (614) 935-1229 so that she can coordinate that with the caterer.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Our venue provides ample parking for all of our guests. Since we are holding the ceremony and reception in the same venue, you will only have to park once!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, transportation to and from your hotel will be your responsibility. Please drive responsibly!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and our reception will both take place indoors. Our ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend, please indicate as such on your RSVP or reach out to Emily or Andrew so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring my own drinks?

Answer

We will be supplying alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages throughout our reception, and will have a bartending service who will be handling all beverages. Due to policies and regulation, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages on the premise. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
