Newport

Located only 15 miles from Narragansett, Newport has a number of great dining options, beaches, shopping, museums & of course the mansions.

Take a Stroll on The Cliff Walk

A great walking trail (3.5 miles) in Newport that runs in-between the ocean & Newport's historic mansions. They host a number of mansion tours that will take you through The Breakers (famous for being the grand Vanderbilt home), The Marble House (over 500,000 cubic feet of marble), and The Rosecliff Mansion (the site where they filmed the movie, The Great Gatsby). You can purchase tickets on the Preservation Society website or on-site at any of the mansions.

Narragansett Town Beach

Located in the center of town, the beach offers ample parking, along with food, restrooms, a surfing area and a beautiful beachfront. Weekends are busy so plan to get there early.

Take a Trip on the Ferry to Block Island

The ferry runs out of Gaililee (15min drive from the hotel) and takes 55 minutes to get to Block Island
