Zach and Emily met September 13th, 2014 at Apple Place Bowl. They were both on the high school bowling teams for their school. Zach went to Farmington High School and Emily went to Rosemount High School. They had known of each other before hand but this day marked the day that changed everything. Zach went up to Emily looking for a person on her team. Later that day Emily was waiting at the alley for her shift to start at work. Zach saw Emily sitting there on her phone and decided he wanted to talk to her more so he sat down with her and kept her company while she waited. An hour had gone by and it was almost time to leave. His mom said "Let's go Zachary, leave the poor girl sit there in peace." He eventually left and later on that weekend, Emily went to the person he was looking for when he first approached her and had an idea to have Zach join them at their homecoming dance the following week. Emily got Zach's number from the person and they began talking and he eventually agreed to go to their dance. The night before the dance was the football game against his own school, he went to the game with Emily and her friends and sat on the opposite side of his school. He went back to her house for a bonfire and games after and asked her out at the end of the night. Ever since then, they have been together, almost 8 years later. They made it through a lot together and now it is almost time to walk down the aisle and become Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell!
