August 17, 2017. Emily shows up to the first day of law school with every single book, notebook, and belonging she could possibly need. Pat shows up with a dead iPad and borrows a pen from someone to get through the day. We end up in the same Orientation Group (9) where he hits me with "could you have brought any more stuff?". We shared a few laughs and have not stopped laughing since. We are so lucky to have met one another and formed our lives together so seamlessly. We cannot wait to share this day with all of you.
