Ethan and Emily first met at the start of their LDS missions, before parting ways to opposite ends of the world. Though far way from each other, Finland and Madagascar are actually in the same time zone, so this innocuous meeting brought them closer together than they would have expected. They re-met years later, and managed to become close friends despite one particularly heated (her words), but ultimately inconsequential (his words), argument during a road trip. After months of weekly game nights and many delightful conversations, they ventured out of the friend zone, and the rest is history... well the rest actually involves 18 months of eventful dating and one break up, but it all worked out in the end. After the wedding, they will continue to live in Provo, Utah, where Emily works as a software engineer and Ethan will pursue a master's degree in mathematics from BYU.
