Best Man
Andrew Crawford will be my best man for the ceremony, and has been an integral part of our lives since he moved to San Antonio in 2016 from Ohio. He and I met when he joined the marching band and we have been close since then. He has always been reliable, but late (we call it Andrew time). We welcome him to be my best man with open hearts. Though we live far apart at this point in time, whenever we see each other, we pick up right where we left off. There will be no mistaking his 80's style when you see him.
Maid of Honor
Madison and I's friendship dates back to the cringiest times in our life: middle school band. Madison and I were both clarinets in the Tex Hill Middle School Wind Ensemble. We did not get along at the start of our relationship, as Madi thought me to be... not nice... for lack of a more profane term. However, the pressures of high school band made us appreciate the other more, and our friendship carried on past graduation. Madi and her girlfriend Summer are some of Dylan and I's oldest friends. This being despite the tension from middle school cringe.
Groomswoman
Summer will be serving as a groomswoman during the ceremony. I met Summer not long after highschool when Madi and Emily got closer post graduation. Madi and Summer have both been irreplaceable friends we have made along the way to getting married. We've enjoyed growing through many phases of our lives parallel to each other. They have always been there for us as we will always be for them. We cannot wait to have Madi and Summer join us in our wedding party.
Bridesmaid
For those who do not know, Molly is my sister. To think back to when we were learning to navigate the world with one another to now is shocking. If you had told five year old Emily she would have her sister by her side at the altar, she would have most likely scream and cry because she would not want to share. However, I am now grateful for the turn of events. What a blessing it is to have such an amazing sister standing beside me.
Bridesmaid
Calvin is unofficially my brother. We have known eachother since Calvin was born. Our parents had an adventure to Alaska before we were thought of, lived there separately for years, and by happenstance had us just weeks apart. The two of us have been the bestest of friends ever since. We have had varying expeditions growing up, from being: kid spies, to pirates, to witches. Now we have the biggest mission of them all: a wedding
Groomsman
Quinn and I met in highschool when we were in marching band, but began to get closer after graduation. Quinn and his wife Tehya have been two of our most mature, and supportive friends since Emily and I began our journey together. They have always been friends that we can expect to have for the rest of our lives. Quinn is currently resided in Utah, though like Andrew, we will always pick up where we left off. We are incredibly happy he will be making time for us and joining as a groomsman during the ceremony.
