Road Trip Idea
Day 1. Auckland to Rotorua via Matamata, Hobiton Day 2. Spend the day in Rotorua: Luge, geothermal and geyser wonderland at Whakarewarewa, Maori village, Zorbing etc Day 3. Rotorua to Lake Taupo via Huka Falls (there are jetboat tours up to the falls, rapid jet), great place for lunch then to Taupo Bungi and De Bretts hot springs, good campground and motel accommodation at De Bretts Day 4. Taupo to Mt Maunganui
