Fly into Oaxaca International Airport (OAX), located about 20–30 minutes from the city center. Most flights connect through Mexico City (MEX), which often makes for the easiest route.

Casa Hidalgo Hotel Boutique – Boutique, modern hotel with a great location in Oaxaca’s centro and excellent reviews for comfort and service. Luuna de Jade- Hotel Boutique – Boutique hotel also right in the centro — perfect if you want something unique and walkable to restaurants and sights. Airbnb – A great budget-friendly choice, especially if you’re traveling with a group or prefer the extra space of an apartment or home.
