We have known each other for as long as we can remember. We grew up just a few blocks apart, attending the same schools and sharing mutual friends. But life has its own timeline. It wasn’t until adulthood, with a little more life behind us and a lot more clarity ahead, that we truly saw each other. A reconnection turned into long conversations, laughter, and the kind of love that feels both brand new and completely familiar.
