Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Emily Hu and Zarius Shroff
Meet our friends who will be walking down the aisle with us! Emily's Party: My bridal party is made up of four of the most important women in my life: my Maid of Honor, Kaishin Lin, my best friend; Lydia Li, my childhood friend; Jessica Tzeng, my middle and high school friend; and Adela Pang, my close friend from college. Each of them represents a different chapter of my life, and together they reflect the love, laughter, and memories that have shaped who I am today. Z's Party: My groomsmen are lifelong friends who have been by my side through every stage of life: Andrew Tran, my friend since middle school; Anthony Yao, my friend from high school; Junho Lim (not pictured above), who was also born in West Lafayette and whom I happened to meet in Ohio; and Vishal Nallanagulagari, my close friend from college. Each of them has been part of some of my favorite stories and chapters along the way.

Emily Hu

Bride

She was born in Milpitas and moved to Shanghai at age ten, where she developed a deep love for culture, and especially food, with a strong bias toward Asian cuisine. Her greatest companion is Bear, her beloved dog she adopted at 23. She loves the arts, shopping, and Thai food most of all. She and Z also share a love of gaming, especially League of Legends, where she proudly mains mage supports in the bottom lane.

Zarius Shroff

Groom

Z was born in West Lafayette and later moved to Columbus, Ohio, where he became a lifelong Ohio State fan who proudly bleeds scarlet and gray. He loves the outdoors, biking, and great food, and is especially known for his slow-cooked creations like his famous brisket. Z also adores Bear, the couple’s dog, and is an enthusiastic gamer, often found duoing in the League of Legends bottom lane (usually with champions better suited for top lane).

Bear

Ring Bearer

Bear is a pure chocolate Pomeranian who was adopted in Marysville, Ohio at the age of four after retiring from life as a breeder dog. While she may not be the brightest pup, she more than makes up for it with personality. Bear has a very particular skill set: she’ll only shake with her right paw first, then her left, always in that order, and she can sit and spin on command. However, if you ask her to come, she’ll usually ignore you or simply sit down and reconsider life. She hates loud noises, loves Hot Cheetos, and is adored by everyone who meets her.
