FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than December 1st

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate our special day with all of you! To make sure every moment is captured beautifully and seamlessly, we have hired a professional photographer whose artistry will help us preserve memories that will last a lifetime. To allow her to do her best work, we kindly ask that you refrain from using phones or taking pictures during the ceremony. This will ensure the photographer’s shots come out amazing, free from distractions or interruptions. Don’t worry - once the ceremony concludes and the celebration moves to the reception, phones and cameras are warmly welcome! Feel free to snap and share all the joyful moments as much as you like. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us make our wedding day picture-perfect in every way!

Question

Is there parking available near the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

To ensure a smooth arrival on our special day, we want to share the convenient parking options available nearby: On-Site Parking: There will be parking available directly at the venue for your convenience. Spencer Smith Park West Lot: Additional parking is accessible at the Spencer Smith Park West Lot, just a short walk from the venue. (Paid Parking) Brock Avenue: You can also find parking across the street on Brock Avenue, offering easy access to the location. (Paid Parking) We recommend arriving a little early to allow time for parking and walking to the venue comfortably. Thank you for planning accordingly - we look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

As we celebrate our special day together this March, we kindly ask our guests to dress elegantly to match the occasion. Please note the following guidelines to help everyone look their best: Attire: Formal or semi-formal wear is appreciated. Think dresses, skirts, dress pants, suits, blazers, and dress shirts. Footwear: Please wear dress shoes or elegant flats. Running shoes or casual sneakers are not appropriate for this event. Please avoid: Casual clothing such as jeans, sweatpants, t-shirts, or any athletic wear. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we create a beautiful and memorable atmosphere for our celebration. Thank you for dressing to impress and sharing this joyous moment with us!

Question

Are there any colours you would prefer me not to wear?

Answer

To help everyone shine together, we kindly ask our guests to feel free to wear any color except white, as this is traditionally reserved for the bride. Thank you for your understanding and for adding your unique style and color to our celebration!

Question

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

We wanted to let you know that we will not be reserving hotel blocks for our wedding. Since many of our guests are local, ride-sharing options like Ubers and taxis are readily available and convenient for getting to and from the venue. For our friends and family traveling from out of town, we have compiled a list of nearby hotel options that are easily accessible from the wedding venue. Please refer to the details provided in the Travel section of the website to help plan your stay.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To help us manage the event and create an intimate atmosphere, we kindly ask that guests only bring a plus one if it is specifically indicated on your invitation. If your invitation does not mention a guest, we sincerely hope you will understand that the celebration is limited to the invited individual(s) only.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

To create a relaxed and intimate atmosphere for all our guests, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. As such, we kindly ask that no children attend the ceremony and reception.

Question

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

From start to finish, our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be indoors, it is March after all!

Question

How do I pick my meal?

Answer

To make the dining experience at our reception both enjoyable and seamless, we have prepared a pre-set menu with a selection of delicious options. When you arrive at the reception, you will have the opportunity to choose your preferred dish from this carefully curated menu, designed to cater to a variety of tastes and dietary needs. Our friendly staff will be available to assist you with your order and to answer any questions.

Question
