We're getting married

It all began at Robert Toombs, where we sat side by side in our K4 class photo—just two kids unknowingly sitting next to their future partner for life. Life took us in different directions when one of us moved to public school in Vidalia in the first grade, but little did we know, fate had a plan to bring us back together. Fast forward to the summer after our sophomore year of college: one of us was at UGA, the other at GSU, and our worlds collided again. Our Vidalia and Robert Toombs friend groups began hanging out, and what started as a fun summer quickly turned into something much more. Between late-night conversations, shared laughs, and unforgettable memories, we found ourselves drawn to each other. By the time August rolled around, we were dreading saying goodbye, and by October 21, 2017, we knew long distance was a small price to pay for the connection we’d found. Over the years, our relationship has been filled with simple joys and shared traditions. We love espresso martinis, brunches that somehow last all day, live music that gets us singing along and staying too long, and binge-watching our favorite shows. Our annual Disney trip to Epcot has become a tradition we look forward to, reminding us that life is better when there’s magic (and good food). We’ve lived in Statesboro, Athens, Atlanta, Savannah, Vidalia, and now Saint Simons Island. After years of navigating long-distance, we’re finally planting roots together and will be moving into our home in Saint Simons. Along the way, we added Monkey, our 6-year-old doodle, to the mix. He’s been our loyal (and hilarious) companion, adding even more love and laughter to our lives. Now, we’re ready to begin the biggest chapter of our journey together—our wedding day! This March 2025, we’ll say “I do” in beautiful St. Augustine, FL, surrounded by our closest friends and family. We can’t wait to celebrate our love story and make more unforgettable memories with all of you!
