Matron of Honor
Katie and Emily met in college, back when Wyatt and Jake (a groomsman and Katie’s now-husband) were living together at WMU. Thank goodness their friendship made it out of Kalamazoo! Emily got to be Katie’s maid of honor in summer 2025, and now it’s Katie’s turn. People often say Emily and Katie look alike, but don’t be fooled...they’re definitely not related. Both grew up with only brothers, so their friendship gives them a little taste of what it’s like to have a sister. They’re always texting, FaceTiming, hanging out, doing crafts, binge-watching shows, and shopping together. Katie is outgoing, bold, full of life, and always celebrating the people around her. She’s the one pulling Emily out of her shell, encouraging her to try new things, go out and experience more, and stay positive. Emily is so grateful for Katie and everything she brings to her life, and she absolutely can’t wait to be an auntie to Katie’s baby boy, due in spring 2026!
Bridesmaid
Casey was Emily’s first friend at GVSU. At first, Casey wasn’t totally sure about Emily, but Emily knew right away that Casey was way too cool to pass up as a friend. After a few weeks of hanging out freshman year, Casey was sold, and the two became inseparable. They even lived together for two years in college, making so many amazing memories. Casey can get along with anyone...she’s a total social butterfly. Emily loves Casey's bubbly personality, sarcasm, and quick wit. But underneath it all, Casey is sweet, sensitive, and endlessly loving. Casey is officially a bridesmaid, but she won’t be able to attend the wedding as she’s expecting a sweet little baby the same week and will be busy soaking up all the newborn snuggles! Emily and Wyatt will miss her in person, but know she’ll absolutely be celebrating in spirit.
Bridesmaid
Emily and Gabriella (Gab) have been friends since early high school. While Gab may have gotten Emily in trouble a time or two, Emily knew right away she wanted Gab as a lifelong friend anyway. They shared a lot of classes, but Emily’s favorite was yearbook, where they could finally let loose after long, exhausting school days. Some of Emily’s favorite memories from high school and college were spent at Gab’s lake house. Gab and her family graciously opened their home and hosted big Fourth of July parties year after year. They were an absolute blast!! Gab is super active, a total fashionista, an incredible networker, a Yelp queen, and someone who loves to be involved in everything. Honestly, FOMO is afraid of Gab. She’s connected to so many people, which is a true testament to how fun, energetic, and magnetic she is. Gab is also insanely organized, and Emily is so relieved (and grateful) that her and Wyatt’s wedding made Gab’s insanely packed Google Calendar!
Bridesmaid
Believe it or not, Hannah and Emily met over Facebook Messenger! Emily and her friend Casey (also a bridesmaid) were looking for roommates, and the first time Emily met Hannah, she knew they’d click. That year turned out to be one of the best of college. They spent their time doing silly things around the house, watching movies, making music videos, and studying together. After college, when Hannah lived in Grand Rapids, they grew even closer with frequent girls’ nights and dinners. Now that Hannah is back on the east side, Emily treasures their visits even more. Hannah is unapologetically herself. She is spunky, fun, and full of energy. Emily admires her spontaneity, determination, and go-with-the-flow nature. The two share a love of TV, movies, music, and a little gossip. Emily can’t wait to have Hannah by her side—and to watch her tear up the dance floor to “Come On Eileen” on the wedding night!

Emily and Kendall met in college through Facebook Messenger when Emily was looking for roommates for junior year at GVSU. Everyone clicked instantly, and it turned out to be one of the best years of college. Emily quickly learned just how easygoing, kind-hearted, and calm-natured Kendall is, and she made junior year unforgettable. One of Emily’s favorite memories is when Kendall invited her and their roommates to stay at her family timeshare in Florida for spring break. It was a total blast and a bonding experience they’ll never forget. Kendall is an amazing listener, thoughtful perspective-taker, trusted advice-giver… and hilariously funny. She’s also a sneaker fanatic and has a deep love of music. Kendall always kept the apartment speakers loaded with bangers at GVSU. Emily and Kendall had countless sing-alongs, from Linkin Park to 6ix9ine, and Emily knows Kendall will bring some of the best song requests to the wedding dance floor!
Bridesmaid
Luz and Emily met in art class freshman year, and she quickly became one of Emily’s very first high school friends. Emily is so glad they met and has kept Luz as a dear friend ever since. Back then, they spent countless nights hanging out at each other’s houses, going to the mall, grabbing food, and going for walks and runs. Emily even convinced Luz to work with her at Chuck E. Cheese for a while…though Luz wasn’t exactly thrilled about Emily’s recommendation!! Luz will always be Emily’s favorite person to grab chips and salsa (and margaritas) with...and to just yap away with. Luz is the type of friend that everyone absolutely needs. She’s the sweetest, most genuine soul, always seeing the best in people and speaking positivity into their lives. Emily loves Luz’s infectious laugh and is constantly trying to make her laugh just to hear it! Luz is sure to bring so much energy and fun to Emily and Wyatt’s wedding day.

Morgan and Emily first met freshman year through swimming at Catholic Central, but it wasn’t until sophomore year that they really clicked and became best friends. They hung out one time, and from then on, they were seriously tied at the hip; wherever one went, the other was right there! Whether it was trying to align class schedules, going to football games, grabbing Steak ’n Shake, going on vacation, attending school dances, or having countless sleepovers, they were always together. Morgan and Emily even coordinated for spirit days like twin day or mismatch day, and they had the same car in high school—a 2003 red Ford Escape! Morgan is the perfect mix of serious and fun. She knows how to bring joy when you need it, but she’s also there with thoughtful advice when it really counts. She’s incredibly silly, yet mature and wise beyond her years. Emily is so grateful that their friendship has lasted all these years and can’t wait to keep making more memories together.
Bridesmaid
Emily became close with Shannon in high school when they had AP Bio together. They bonded over the ridiculous expectations of the class and tried to keep each other sane throughout it all. Shannon and Emily also played tennis together at Catholic Central, where Emily got to see Shannon’s fierce side shine. Even now, they’re constantly laughing together, sending each other funny videos and memes, and bonding over their love for the Twilight Saga and classic Barbie movies. Shannon is one of the silliest, goofiest people you’ll ever meet, but don’t let that fool you. She’s incredibly intelligent (a bit of a science nerd, one might say), and Emily has never done better at trivia than when Shannon was on her team. Shannon is definitely someone you want as a friend. She is kind-hearted, intentional, and honest. Shannon is also the beauty queen of the group and will definitely be helping Emily with makeup touch-ups on the wedding day. Emily can’t wait to have Shannon by her side, and to tear up the dance floor together!

Yvonne and Emily first became friends in the early years of high school, and their friendship is still going strong. They have a million memories together, starting with bonding over shared classes, playing tennis (Yvonne was a star!), and going on trips together. Over the years, they’ve added even more memories...like seeing Drake, Future, The Weeknd, and Post Malone in concert, and exploring Milwaukee (Yvonne’s now hometown) side by side. Emily and Wyatt have loved having Yvonne as their personal tour guide during summer trips to Milwaukee. Yvonne is super smart, fun, genuine, loyal, and intentional, and truly one of Emily’s most well-rounded friends. She’s a nurse (soon to be a Nurse Practitioner!) and runs a fun, ever-growing Instagram blog documenting her favorite breweries, beers, and eats (@milwaukeebeer.blog). Emily is super excited to have a loyal friend like Yvonne standing by her side on her wedding day, and knows she’ll be capturing some amazing wedding-day content!
Best Man
It’s hard to put into words what it means to Wyatt to have his brother standing beside him as best man. He’s been by Wyatt’s side since day one—literally. A lifelong rival in the best way and one of the people Wyatt trusts most in the world, his brother has been there through every high and low with unwavering loyalty, humor, and the kind of honesty only a sibling can give. Having him by his side on one of the most important days of his life means everything to Wyatt, and he couldn’t imagine taking this step without him.
Groomsman
Brendan and Wyatt’s friendship began in high school as fierce hockey rivals. Their competitive spirit kept them on opposite sides, but over the years, that rivalry evolved into a strong bond. Through fishing trips, golf outings, and countless memories, they went from competitors to lifelong friends.

Wyatt met Brandon during their time at Western Michigan University, and their friendship has only grown stronger over the years. Ciaran (Key) has been like a brother to Wyatt since the 7th grade. From the first time they met, they’ve shared just about everything from memories of football to more rounds of golf than they can count. Whether it was on the field, the course, or just hanging out, Key has always been the guy Wyatt could count on for a good laugh, solid advice, or just being there no matter what.
Groomsman
Isaac and Wyatt have been friends since their early elementary school days, growing up side by side through countless memories — from trips together to playing football and lacrosse. Over the years, their bond has only strengthened as they’ve continued to challenge and support each other, both personally and professionally. Wyatt is grateful to have one of his oldest and closest friends standing by his side.
Groomsman
Jake and Wyatt go way back, to when they were battling against each other on the ice in high school. Every game between our teams was intense, competitive, and full of pride. What started as a fierce rivalry turned into a lasting friendship when we both ended up at Western Michigan University. It’s been a full-circle experience from opponents on the ice to being college roommates.
Groomsman
Wyatt met Lukas at Western Michigan University, and the two have been trading laughs, stories, and sports trash talk ever since. Whether they’re debating Detroit vs. Chicago sports or just catching up on life, Lukas’s humor always shine through making him the perfect guy to have standing up on the big day.
Groomsman
Zach has been by Wyatt’s side through thick and thin. Whether it was late-night talks, watching sporting events together, grabbing a beer, or just everyday laughs, he’s always been someone Wyatt could count on. Having him stand up on the big day is an honor and a testament to their lifelong friendship.

Zeb has been part of Wyatt’s life since Elementary school. They’ve shared laughter, music, and more memories than they can count. Known for his creativity and humor, Zeb brings energy to every moment. Through all of life’s ups and downs, he’s been a constant source of support and there’s no one Wyatt would rather have standing by his side.
