W + E

Our paths first crossed our freshman and sophomore years at a college bible study. I don't think we spoke once, but now we can see the Lord's hand in bringing us together even before we knew each other. Fast forward one year, we found ourselves in the same crowds, from football games to church events. We didn't know it at the time, but we both were secretly crushing. It wasn't until a Tuesday night community group that we finally started having real conversations. We would stay after to "help the leaders clean up" but really we just wanted to be in the same room :) On top of this, we both worked a shift at our church coffee shop and would find any reason to end up at each other's shift. In the midst of this, I got the guts to ask Will to my sorority formal. Shortly after, he asked me on our first date!! After talking for hours at Superior and going to a local concert, we both knew that this was something special. A couple dates later, Will asked me to be his girlfriend over Chick-Fil-A at Baton Rouge Beach. The rest is history. Throughout our 2 years of dating, we have seen have seen the Lord's kindness and His hand in it all. On December 2, 2023, Will asked me to spend forever with him. As we step into marriage, we are overjoyed to spend our lives together all while doing our best to serve and glorify our Creator. We will spend the rest of our lives thanking God for his kindness and the gift of marriage.
