It all began on March 22nd, 2024—a day as unpredictably snowy as our future. Little did we know, that magical day we got engaged was just the beginning of a whirlwind year that has been both exhilarating and transformative. Just three days later, we were packing our bags for Will’s admitted students day at Harvard Divinity School. There’s nothing like getting engaged and immediately diving into a massive life decision together to keep things interesting! With prayer and God's guiding presence, the process was filled with such peace. From our engagement to the Harvard visit, it all felt like divine choreography. There are too many God stories to share in writing, so please call us—we would love to share more of these moments with you! Once we decided Will was starting school in the fall, we had two options as every wedding venue we looked at was booked a year in advance. We could 1) start school as an engaged couple and go long-distance, or 2) get married before school and start our new life together. We chose to stick together and celebrate with you as soon as we could: summer 2025! Fast forward to August 11th, 2024, surrounded by our immediate families at Emily’s childhood church, where we exchanged vows in an intimate and deeply meaningful ceremony. Just three days after that, because apparently, we really like to do things in threes—we packed up and moved to Boston. Will began his new academic adventure, while Emily embraced her new role at Lexington Christian Academy. We can’t wait to renew our vows and celebrate our marriage with all of you!
