Our wedding will take place outdoors on grass beneath the trees, with an evening reception in a barn. We're envisioning semi-formal attire with an elevated ranch aesthetic. We'd love for you to dress up while embracing the natural setting—flowy dresses paired with boots, wedges, or flats work beautifully. Gentlemen, consider button-down shirts, slacks, dark wash jeans, and boots or dress shoes. Since heels can be challenging on grass, we encourage you to choose footwear with that in mind. Most importantly, wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident as we celebrate together!
Unfortunately, we have a limited guest list to stay within our budget. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your formal wedding invitation.
While we adore your little ones, we've decided to host an adults-only celebration so that everyone can unwind and fully enjoy the evening together. We truly appreciate you making arrangements in advance, and we look forward to celebrating with you!
While some weddings have one location for the ceremony and another for the reception, both ours will take place in the same area! You can find the address to The Diamond A Ranch under the “schedule” tab of our website. Please refer to the map on the back of the details page of your invitation. The ceremony will be held at the Live Oak Grove and the reception will be held at the Homestead Saloon.
After the ceremony at the Live Oak Grove, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to cocktail hour in the Homestead Saloon which will be over by where you parked. Please refer to the map!
October in North Texas offers beautiful weather—expect warm, sunny days with temperatures in the low 80s, cooling to the upper 50s as evening approaches. We recommend bringing a light jacket for the later festivities, as the nights can be quite pleasant but crisp.
