MEET US IN THE MOUNTAINS

FAQs

The Wedding Website of Emily Royster and Tristan Thomas
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by the end of December at the latest.

Question

Can I attend the ceremony?

Answer

We have limited seating at the ceremony (35 seats). Your invitation reflects whether you have a seat at the ceremony & reception or just the reception. If you would like to attend our 9:00 am celebration at White Pass on 2/6/26 in the loft and your invitation does not reflect the ceremony, please reach out directly to the groom or bride. You are more than welcome to join in the lower lodge at any time. We will try our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee a seat.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love for you to dress up with us! Make it cozy, warm, and semi-formal! There is a covered outdoor deck where games and drinks will be located!

Question

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

4:30, we plan to have appetizers, music, wine, beer, and a game hour before we start dinner. Tristan and Emily will be arriving around 5:00 ish.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please let us know on the RSVP or personally reach out to the groom, bride, or the bride's father.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

No, please remember that the Community Hall is off Highway 12, with icy and dark roads at night. Please plan accordingly. Most hotels are within walking distance, but most Airbnbs are not.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have a plus one, it is reflected on the RSVP. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Question

I plan to ski on February seventh, when should I buy a pass?

Answer

Ski passes sell out ahead of time at White Pass due to only a certain number of tickets available. We recommend purchasing in advance.

Question

I don't know how to ski, can I still hangout at White Pass while others ski on Satuday?

Answer

White Pass is a fabulous place to hang out—whether or not you ski! Food and drinks are available for purchase at the lodge, and the atmosphere is always cozy and fun. If you'd like to explore outside, you can rent snowshoes in Packwood or bring your own. For skiing, afternoon or bunny hill passes are great options if you're not planning to ski all day. Even if you're just hanging out at the lodge, it's still great vibes with the best people at one of our most special places.

Question

Does the reception venue have parking?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of space for parking with handicap accessible entry.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Yes! We encourage you to take all the pictures! Make sure to send photos to the bride and groom so they can see all the fun you had!

Question

Are you signed up with a registry?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with our favorite people — your love and support mean everything to us. If you feel moved to give a gift, we’re saving for our honeymoon/building our savings and would be incredibly grateful for any contribution. That said, please don’t feel obligated — your presence truly is enough!
