Travis and Emily met in May of 2019 at a Topeka bar, and bonded over metal bands. They shared a dance together and kissed for the first time as the last song of the night ended. A week later they had their first date bantering over games of pool.

In our 6 years together, we've merged our hearts, homes, and families. We enjoy going to metal concerts, cooking together, spending time with the kids, watching football eating queso, and playing Fortnite together.

After a few years of discussing marriage, Travis finally proposed in December 2024 even though half the wedding was planned by the both of us in backwards fashion (typical Emily style) before the engagement.

We hope to someday soon travel more (2020 got in the way then life). Our first trip together was to Omaha, Nebraska with the kids, we've also made it to Denver, Colorado; Wichita, Kansas; and Midwest City, Oklahoma; and Kansas City, Missouri; and Idaho/Wyoming for weekend trips, some with the kids, some without. For our honeymoon, we'd like to end up east in the Appalachians.
