Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside; reception will be under a tent, and dancing will take place in the barn. As it can get chilly in the evening, we kindly recommend bringing a layer for the outdoor portion of our evening.

What are the best ways to get to and from the venue?

What are the transportation options?

Answer

Logan Airport in Boston is the nearest large airport, and is about 1.5 hours from the venue. The Portland International Jetport, a smaller airport, may also be an option, depending on where you are coming from! Additionally, there is an Amtrak Train, the Downeaster, from North Station in Boston to Wells, Maine.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we love children, we’ve decided to make our wedding day an adults-only event. We hope you understand and can join us in celebrating this special day. However, children are more than welcome to attend the Friday and Sunday events.

We will be doing a family-style dinner, with a meat, fish, and vegetarian option.
