Our story began in 2018, eight hours from home at Decadence in Colorado. After the festival we went our separate ways, only to keep unexpectedly running into each other back in Kansas. It felt like the universe wasn’t done with us yet. One day after work, Tim was sitting at a bar when I happened to be one seat over and asked him to scoot down. We started talking, and I mentioned I had an extra ticket to a show and he should come with me. That night turned into many more, and before long we were spending all our time together. Not long after, I asked him to be my Valentine. We celebrated at Up-Down and may or may not have gotten kicked out, which pretty much set the tone for the adventure ahead. Since then we’ve traveled to new places, moved in together, and added our dog Cookie to the family. We love dancing, karaoke, cooking together, and trying new restaurants whenever we can. What started as chance encounters became a life we never want to imagine without each other.
