Emily had been working for Lira Clinical for about a year and half when she finally met Metaxia and Anna (Theo's mom and sister). It was the 2019 sales meeting, we were all sitting in the hotel lobby when Anna said Emily would be perfect for "her little Teddy T" and Metaxia agreed! A couple weeks later was the San Jose tradeshow, where they locked eyes for the first time. After dinner, Theo asked Emily to go take Axle (his dog) for a walk and of course she said yes!

After holding the biggest secret of his life, Theo decided he couldn't let the best year of their lives end without getting on one knee. The day before, Emily went to get her nails done and while sitting there their photographer, Brittany, reached out to do a shoot the next morning. Emily freaked out because it was not enough time to put outfits together, but they did it! Christmas Eve morning, they went to a park in Brentwood, CA for the photoshoot. Brittany had Emily standing with her eyes closed while Theo was behind on one knee. When Emily turned around Theo said "will you marry me?" with the biggest smile on his face and before she was hysterical Emily nodded and said "yeah!"
