Where can we park?

Answer

You can park at the City Center Garage at 850 Calhoun Street in Fort Wayne, IN 46802. The garage is on the northeast corner of S Calhoun street and E Jefferson Blvd. It is caddy corner from the Botanical Gardens.

How do we get to the Botanical Gardens from the parking garage?

Answer

The easiest way is to take the elevator in the parking garage down to the ground floor and cross the street to the Botanical Gardens, which will be southwest from the garage. In the event that it is raining, there is a skywalk from the 3rd floor of the garage over to the Grand Wayne Center and then another skywalk over to the Embassy theatre. From the Embassy theater, take the stairs down to the ground floor, exit the building, and turn right to walk to the Botanical Gardens next door.

Is parking free?

Answer

Yes! When you enter the parking garage, you will push the button to receive a ticket. Keep this ticket with you when you go to the Botanical Gardens. Show your parking ticket to the staff member at the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory front desk for validation.

Do I need to account for traffic in downtown Fort Wayne?

Answer

Yes! There will be traffic in downtown Fort Wayne when you are traveling to the Botanical Gardens, especially since we are asking guests to arrive around 6pm. Please allow an extra 15 minutes for traffic when planning what time to leave for the reception.

Can we explore the Botanical Gardens while we are at the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! We have the entire Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory reserved for the evening until 10pm. It is a highlight of downtown Fort Wayne and guests are more than welcome to enjoy the gardens! We ask that you respect the facility and stay on the paths. Please do not walk through any of the flower beds, whether inside or outside.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

No. We will be serving water, tea, lemonade, coffee, and a few coke products (Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite), but we will not be providing any alcoholic beverages.

Will there be high chairs or booster seats for kids available?

Answer

Unfortunately we will not be able to provide high chairs or booster seats for children. We apologize for any inconvenience.
