How do I get to Bald Head Island?
Answer
Please plan to travel via ferry to Bald Head Island the day of the reception. The ferry will pick you up at Deep Point Marina, located at 1301 Ferry Road SE in Southport, NC. You can leave your car parked at Deep Point where you will get a parking ticket, similar to the airport. The ferry departs from the marina every hour, so please plan to be on the 5:00PM ferry to Bald Head Island in order to make the start of our reception at 5:30PM! We recommend being at the marina no later than 4:30PM to ensure a seat on the ferry. The ferry ride itself takes about 20 minutes. Ferry tickets can be purchased at the Deep Point Terminal ticket window for $23, which includes a return trip from Bald Head Island back to Deep Point Marina at the end of the evening. A tram will be there waiting at Bald Head Island to take you to the reception location ( 4 Spikerush Court). The max the tram can take at one time is 12 people, so if a larger group arrives at the same time, they will take one group first and come back shortly after for the second. https://baldheadislandferry.com

How do I get back to the hotel at the end of the evening?
Answer
The ferry picks up passengers hourly, traveling back to Deep Point Marina. The last ferry leaves the island at 11:30PM. There will be no tram service that late, so those staying in Southport should plan to take the reserved tram back to the ferry at 9:45 in order to make the 10:30 ferry. The tram will pick up those staying in Southport at our reception location. Once back at Deep Point Marina, the hotel is located approximately 2.5 miles away - or an 8 minute drive.
