4:00 pm
Farm Wedding Attire - Feel free to dress comfortably! Consider wearing casual shoes that you will be comfortable wearing while walking through a farm on natural trails and mowed fields. And please dress appropriately for the weather!
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00p, but we are encouraging guests to arrive at the farm closer to 3:45p as there is a short walk through the farm from the parking area to the ceremony. There will be physically distant seating available for anyone who would like to sit down during the ceremony. Guests are also welcome to stand.
4:30 pm
Between the ceremony and reception we are offering a range of optional activities: * Farm walk - Feel free to take a walk, on any of the cleared trails, through the beautiful 40 acres that make up Idlewild Farm. * Hayride - Farmer Aaron will be offering a short hayride through the farm which is available to all guests. There will be several hayrides offered between ceremony and reception, as we are limiting how many people can be on the hayride at a time. Masks are mandatory for all adults and children (ages 2 and above) who participate in the hayride (unless a hayride is made up entirely of one household). * Apple launching - Sid is excited to offer a piece of his childhood for any guest who would like to launch bruised apples from the orchard with his water balloon launcher. Hand sanitizer will be available. * Ladder Ball and Cornhole - on the open lawn. Disposable gloves and hand sanitizer available.
5:30 pm
Due to concerns around safety in the time of Covid, for our meal together we will be providing a picnic of prepackaged hors d'oeuvres and fresh bread for each family or pod unit! We will also have bottled water, local beer, cider, and other beverages on hand. Please plan to join us under a canopy of trees for a picnic with socially distant tables and seating arrangements.
7:00 pm
There will be an after party bonfire available to any guests who would like to stick around with us after the reception! If you are planning to stay for the bonfire, please bring your own camping chair. We will have a few extras available for out-of-towners.
