We're getting married!

Our mutual friend and now famed matchmaker introduced us in September 2022, and after an increasingly nerdy text conversation, Seth asked Emily to dinner the following week. They spent the evening discussing reading comprehension, cognitive psychology, and their shared love of working in schools. A few weeks later, Emily invited Seth to be her "plus 1" at a family wedding and he immediately fit in and was well-loved by everyone. From there, it snowballed into cooking lessons, weekend adventures, lots of board games, learning to ballroom dance, walks on the bike path, debates about the existence of auditory processing disorder, archery classes, and introducing Seth to Emily's cats. In February 2023, Seth proposed and Emily immediately said yes. They bought their first house together and became residents of Palmer Township, PA, in April 2023, and are excitedly looking forward to celebrating their wedding with all of their favorite people on October 7, 2023.
