One of our favorite pizza places, Downhome Pizza, had recently moved to a new location. Because Sean knew the owner, he had told me that the owner had asked him to take photos to send to the newspaper, for which we would get free pizza. As we got to the restaurant, I noticed a "Reserved" table in the back so Sean could set up his camera. After the camera was set up, Sean sat across from me at the reserved table and asked me to choose something to eat. As I looked over the menu, he said, "Before you decide on what you want to eat, I need to ask you a very important question..." At this time, the waiter had brought out a ring box on a pizza pan and sat it on the table in front of me. I couldn't believe what was happening, so in my shock, Sean expressed his love for me and stated he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. As he pulled the actual ring box out of his boot, he moved from his chair to his knee on the floor beside me and asked me to marry him. With tears in my eyes, I couldn't help but say YES! I still get teary-eyed and have butterflies in my stomach whenever I think about it.
