Things To DoThings To Do

The Wedding Website of Emily Popma and Scott Wentzell
New Bedford is a charming coastal New England town with deep history and enough grit to keep it interesting. Once one of the wealthiest communities in the country thanks to the whaling industry, New Bedford remains a bustling commercial fishing port to this day. We chose this location for our wedding for many reasons. It is picturesque without being pretentious; it is a city that has had to reinvent itself many times; the seafood is as fresh any; it is off the beaten path. We hope you can take some time to relax, explore the quaint downtown, and take in coastal New England in all its summer glory. Oh, and eat some scallops.
