San Diego International Airport
San Diego International Airport is right between Point Loma (where most of the wedding events take place) and Downtown San Diego, within a 20-30 minute drive of most places we'd recommend staying or visiting.
Hotel
Hotels
For those of you that would prefer to stay at a hotel, there are many options within a few minute's drive from the wedding locations. There are several hotels on Shelter Island or Harbor Island that offer spectacular views (Kona Kai Resort, Humphrey's By The Bay, Hilton, Sheraton). The Holiday Inn Bayside on Harbor Drive is less expensive and conveniently located midway between the airport and Point Loma. If you're looking for more of a beachfront hotel, we recommend looking in Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, or La Jolla. We don't recommend booking a hotel farther north than La Jolla, as the traffic between North County and San Diego proper can be difficult.
House Or Rental
Airbnb or VRBO
If you're traveling in a group, we recommend looking into available Airbnb or VRBO options. There are some incredible houses in Ocean Beach (very close to the ceremony location) and Pacific Beach, as well as in Point Loma. Let us know if you have any questions about neighborhoods!
