Kristen Palmer

Matron of Honor

We met back at JMU my freshman year when she started dating my brother. We quickly became friends and she was with me through the ups and downs of college. We continued to grow closer after college and I can still remember being so excited to learn she was going to be my sister-in-law! She is the sister I always dreamed of! I know I can always call her up and talk about what’s going on in my life until the wee hours of the morning. Kristen is the most amazing planner of a good time together, whether it is family trips, a night out on the town or binge watching “Love is Blind”! I have loved getting to make memories with her for the past 12 years and I can’t wait for her to stand by my side on my big day!

Megan Stevens

Bridesmaid

We met 3 years ago when Robby and I first started dating. Our love of music and sports made us instant friends! We have ongoing baseball texts over our friendly rivalry of the Phillies and Nats and always share when we hear a new Needtobreathe song! She already agreed to be my concert going buddy for life! We even get to bond on our curly hair, “the curly hair girls” as Robby’s mom calls us. Sharing fun drink and food recipes with each other and planning out the next cool restaurant to check out are just some of the fun things we chat about. I can’t wait to welcome a new sister-in-law into my life!

Abby Drexler

Bridesmaid

We met back in 7th grade at Herndon Middle School! We solidified our friendship as we played on the same travel soccer team all the way through the end of high school. We went to different colleges and lived in different states after college, but the amazing thing was our friendship grew. Every time we would visit each other we were able to pick up right where we left off, no matter how long it had been. I am glad we are now living in the same state and getting to play soccer together again. I’m so lucky to have had Abby as my friend for the past 19 years and can’t wait to have her supporting me on this next journey of life!

Chelsea Green

Bridesmaid

We met back in high school, running on the track team together. Our friendship grew even closer after high school when we would bond during winter breaks as we would bake cookies and play board games together. We had many years of taking our dogs on long walks through the woods together as we laughed and caught up. She is always down to have a G and T out on the deck while soaking up the sun. Every time we talk on the phone it brightens my day. She has been through so many of life’s ups and downs with me and I can’t wait for her to be by my side on my big day!

Melanie Janetsky

Bridesmaid

Melanie and I started off just being neighbors, and our relationship blossomed. We have gotten to support each other through the ups and downs of life and have become closer through it all. We discuss all of life’s questions during our long walks through the neighborhood. She has shown me how to live out a loving marriage and raise one amazing family. Game nights together can get very competitive quickly, but are surrounded with lots of laughter. We will always have lots of home projects to help each other with, but if it means getting to spend time with you, i’m always game! My favorite activity with Melanie would have to be catching up by the firepit while sipping on a nice cocktail. I’m so lucky to have gained a life long friend and I can’t wait for her to be by my side on my big day!

David Snellings

Best Man

David and I met during our Sophomore year at JMU through Intervarsity. Our friendship developed over the years through a similar sense of humor, bourbon, and plenty of shenanigans.

Spencer Pelfrey

Groomsman

Spencer and I met during our first week of Freshman year in college. Our friendship developed freshman year over sports and video games.

Alex Burden

Groomsman

Alex and I became friends during our Sophomore year of college. We instantly bonded over college football and mutual suffering during a couple of disappointing USC and Wisconsin football losses.

Nate Smith

Groomsman

Nate and I met when we were random Freshman year roommates at JMU. We became friends through living with each other, intramural soccer and Intervarsity.

Chris Palmer

Groomsman

Chris and I met in 2019 when Emily and I went out to Colorado to visit and go Skiing. We have grown closer over family trips to Denver and Virginia and have bonded over good food and whiskey. I am excited to call Chris my Brother in Law and can't wait to officially join the family.
