Emily met Maria through Rashad as she was one of his friends before Emily and Rashad met. The second time Emily and Maria hung out was at a Jacques concert in Charlotte and they got lost on the interstate on their way back to GWU. Maria is a hard worker and a loyal friend who loves to plan trips!

Dante is Rashad’s younger cousin. They act like little children again every time they see each other. There are endless memories made when the two are together.

Aubrie and Emily met in college at GWU. Aubrie loves anything related to Harry Potter and could recite any line. She has the cutest baby boy with her husband Nate. Her favorite holiday is Halloween and always has the most creative costumes.

Craig is one of Rashad’s closest friends. They lived in the same building in charlotte for years. They both worked at Scott Clark Toyota and went to a Hornets game together as their first game hanging out and the rest is history!

Kathryn is Emily's youngest sister. She is a sophomore at Clemson University purusing a business degree. She is a fantastic clarinet player in the Clemson Tiger Band. Emily and Kathryn love blasting old Taylor Swift in the car and making shad listen to the music. She enjoys baking and hanging out with her fur friends Charlie and Koda.

Eric is one of Rashad’s closest friends. Eric and Rashad worked together at Scott Clark Toyota. They first hung out together on Eric’s birthday. He is one of Rashad’s most dependable friends.
Madelyn McCaig

Madelyn is Emily's younger sister who is a junior at Western Carolina pursuing an education degree. Madelyn and Emily love playing the competitive board game of Catan. She works at a doggy daycare and makes sure everyone's fur friends are well taken care of when their owners leave town.

Tyrique is Rashad’s first cousin. They played multiple sports together and could not be separated as kids. Tyrique lives in Arkansas with his Fiancée and is a great young man.

Aiyana and Emily became close friends through the Griffin family- Emily was dating Rashad and Aiyana is in a relationship with Dante, Rashad's cousin. They grew close hanging out on family vacations and family gatherings. Aiyana is currently studying to become a physical therapist assistant while working as a therapy tech.

Charles Thomas is Rashad’s older cousin and they played basketball together on the same team. Charles has always been there for Rashad and continues to help in anyway he can.

Naya and Emily met at GWU through Rashad as Rashad and Naya were friends at school. Naya has graduated with her MBA and currently lives in NC. She always has the best song recommendations and any vibe. She gives the best advice and always gets her friends the cutest phone cases!

Charles Miller is Rashad’s second oldest cousin. Charles baby sat Rashad as a Toddler. Charles was present and an older mentor for Rashad. Charles has been and continues to set an example for the entire family.
