The Bay Area has multiple airports. The Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport (OAK) is in the city of the venue and the most convenient option. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is another option and easily accessible to public transit (BART) to Oakland. San Jose Mineta International Airport is another Bay Area option. Though it is farther from public transit (BART) and may require a car rental.
