FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You may RSVP by returning the royal reply card via post, or if you prefer, you can reply online with a few clicks and zero dragon encounters. All details and the enchanted portal to RSVP can be found at the RSVP link above. Whichever path you choose, do respond before midnight on October 31st, lest our feast be one turkey leg too few and our goblets stay full.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Fear not! After a day of joyous revelry, merry mischief and perhaps a goblet (or three) of celebratory mead, you shall not be left to slumber in a haystack or under the starry skies. We have secured room blocks at several inns - each with soft beds and warm hearths. These fine establishments have graciously set aside quarters for our honored guests, at rates most fair and free of dragons. Full details and links can be found under the Travel link above. But tarry not! The best rooms go quickly, and it is said the last to book must share a bunk with Sir Snores-a-lot.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 3:10pm - that gives you enough time to park your steed (or carriage), freshen up your gown or armor, wander the winding path, and find your seat before the trumpets sound and the magic begins.

Question

What time is too early to arrive?

Answer

Come not too early, brave guest. Arriving more than 20-30 minutes before the ceremony begins and you may find the drawbridge still raised or risk catching a glimpse of the bride before the grand entrance!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Indeed, noble guests! While no one shall be cast in the dungeon for fashion offenses, we do encourage attire befitting a festive gathering in the realm of romance and revelry. Whether you arrive as a lady of the court, a gallant rogue, or a particularly well-dressed villager, your presence (and your style) shall be most appreciated. In short, dress to impress, but leave the dragon-slaying armor at home - it does pose certain challenges on the dance floor!
