Paul and Emily met on a dating app. Emily enlisted the help of a another couple to go through her matches on the app one night. They said to trust anyone who has a beard, and decided Paul could possibly be a catch. ;) Paul was instantly attracted to Emily, but said it was her “almost perfect credit score”, that made him decide she couldn’t get away. After quite a bit of texting and talking, Emily agreed to go on a dinner date. Later she decided that the little smirk Paul gets, after laughing at his own jokes, could not be resisted and gave in to him helping her paint a room in her new house. It was fireworks from that moment on. With covid taking full swing that spring, they spent A LOT of one on one time getting to know each other and quickly fell in love. Another memorable date they had, was hiking around the palisades. Just over one year later, they returned to the palisades and Paul asked Emily to spend the rest of her life with him. 💕
