Yes. For the safety of our guests, and in accordance with venue, city, state, and CDC guidelines, we are requiring all able guests (including plus-ones) to be fully vaccinated. Fully vaccinated is defined as 14 days after the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccination.
Yes. Our venue may require this information, so to streamline the process on the day of the event we are asking all guests (including plus-ones) to submit proof of vaccination in advance. Please submit a photo of your vaccine card by October 8th using the following link: https://tinyurl.com/epvaccine
The Welcome Party will be entirely outdoors, with a specific section of the beer garden reserved for our group. The Ceremony & Reception will primarily be indoors, with an outdoor section of the venue accessible after dinner. We'll work with the venue to keep the space as well ventilated as possible throughout the night. The Picnic Brunch will also be entirely outdoors, with a picnic area in the park reserved for our group. If you don't feel comfortable attending the Ceremony & Reception indoors but would like to join for the other events we totally understand and would be happy to see you there!
We don't know yet. The requirements and guidelines from the venue/city/state/CDC are evolving too quickly for us to say anything with confidence right now. We'll reach out with more information closer to the event, but please plan on bringing one to be safe.
We're planing to stay at the Ace Hotel, but we don't have a hotel block and you're welcome to stay wherever you like. If you're looking for other nice options in the area you can also check out Freehand or Hotel Figueroa.
Culver City (~20 minute drive to the venue): Quiet and family-friendly with a walkable downtown and a rich history of film production. There are plenty of boutique hotels as well as Airbnbs. Silver Lake/Los Feliz (~20 minute drive to the venue): A hip, young, artsy area with a quieter neighborhood feel. There are probably more Airbnbs than hotels here. Santa Monica/Venice (~30 minute drive to the venue): When you picture a quintessential Los Angeles beach neighborhood, these are the places you're thinking of. Sandy beaches, bustling downtowns, trendy shopping destinations, and great bars and restaurants. It gets pricier and more chaotic the closer you get to the water, but there are a number of nice places (with easier parking) a bit further inland. This is far from an exhaustive list, so if you find a great spot in a different area go for it! Just keep in mind that LA traffic can be unpredictable. Wherever you stay, make sure you set aside ample travel time to get to the events.
You know we love kids (and yours especially), but we want this to be your night off! If you need help locating a sitter in LA for the wedding, please feel free to reach out!
Absolutely! The breakfast will be entirely outdoors in the park. Since they will not be able to attend the wedding, we'd love to see them on Sunday!
September 12th would be lovely!
Garden party attire! That means you get to clean up for the evening, but don't need to dust off that tux. Semi-formal garden dresses, floral patterns, sleek jumpsuits, suits of all colors (light and bright included!) are all welcome.
