I haven't provided a dinner order yet - do I need to do so before the big day?

Answer

Have no fear! You haven’t missed anything in your invitation; you do not need to select any food choices in advance of the big day. During the reception each guest will be presented with a menu of all meal options (including both vegetarian and vegan dishes) and asked to order your selection. If you have dietary restrictions and did not share them as part of your RSVP, please contact the couple directly to let them know.

Will I need transportation to and from the event?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to and from the venue and the Holiday Inn. Bus pick-up from the hotel will be at 4:00 pm and transportation from the event back to the hotel will be offered at 11:00 pm and 1:00 am. Please note that transportation will not be provided to and from other locations. Your safety is our top priority so please drink responsibly and take advantage of the parking at the venue and near-by Pearle Hotel and use Uber or a local taxi service as needed (contact information provided in the ‘Travel’ section of the website).

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not have a wedding registry. The biggest gift to us is your support and presence at our wedding so please do not feel obligated to give anything else. However, should you feel inclined, cash gifts are always appreciated.

What should I wear?

Answer

The event dress code is semi-formal with no parameters around colour or style. Suits, gowns, cocktail dresses and jumpsuits are all welcome!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception take place indoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors with air conditioning and no grass to contend with so feel free to wear your best heels!

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, the venue does have parking but space is limited. We encourage guests to park at their hotels or to use nearby public parking (e.g., Precise ParkLink Inc. which is a 7 min. walk from the venue at 1230 North Shore Blvd E).

Can I bring a date or my kids?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. Please reach out to Emily and Patrick to discuss any extenuating circumstances.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! As a thank you for helping us celebrate our big day all drinks are on us 😊

Can I take pictures during the event to post on social media?

Answer

Of course! We do not have a wedding hashtag so we welcome everyone to photograph and share our special day as they please. But don’t worry, pressure is off: we will also have a professional photography crew on site to help capture the day.
