They bonded over skiing at Bogus Basin and the meaningful conversations on the drive up the mountain—talking about everything under the sun and laughing the whole way. Through church, shared dreams, and mutual encouragement, their friendship has grown into something truly special. Julee is someone Emily deeply trusts, who holds her accountable and walks alongside her as a sister in Christ. Emily is so grateful for a beautiful friendship she knows will last a lifetime.

Emily and Bre met in 2023 on a mission trip to Fiji and instantly connected through tears, laughter, deep conversations, and a few wacky circumstances. Since then, they’ve flown across the world together again on a mission trip to South Africa—because nothing bonds a friendship quite like that. Bre’s big heart shines through in every part of her life: her marriage, her missions, her students, and everyone she meets. The two truly are bestie soulmates. Emily is truly honored to have such a loving, adventurous, and faithful friend standing by her side on this special day.

Emily and Taylor met in high school and truly bonded on a trip to visit a mutual friend in Texas—specifically on a Spirit flight where they were denied water and nearly crash-landed (a true friendship test). In that chaos, they discovered just how much they had in common and how much they enjoyed each other’s company. Tay Tay’s sassy but sweet personality challenges Emily to grow and be better, and together they’ve walked through both joy and hardship while strengthening their faith. Most recently, they created unforgettable memories on a mission trip to Thailand. Emily can’t wait to have Taylor’s energy and joy throughout this celebration.

She radiates femininity, joy, and grace, and has lovingly lifted Emily up during some of life’s hardest moments. Maddi is a steady encourager who brings calm and warmth to the Borgman family. Emily met Emma this year as her relationship with Noah began, and their bond formed quickly. Emma is Noah’s older sister and on one of their first visits, Emily and Noah road-tripped to Oregon to visit Emma. The fun began immediately. Each time they’ve spent together since has been filled with laughter, connection, and Emma’s thoughtful, wise advice and her curiosity of why someone would fall in love with her younger brother. Though their friendship is new, it’s one Emily treasures deeply. Emily is so grateful to not only gain a sister-in-law, but a lifelong friend.

Emily is very excited to be gaining another sister and have Paige play such a special role on this big day.

Stetson is Noah's adorable two-year-old nephew and quite possibly the cutest ring bearer there ever was. With his sweet smile, curious spirit, and toddler charm, he's sure to steal the show as ring security. Emily and Noah are so excited to have Stetson be a part of their big day!

Emily met Bridget on a mission trip to Peru in 2022, where they immediately admired one another’s servant hearts and deep faith. Their friendship only grew stronger through shared adventures in Fiji and South Africa missions. Walking through life together, celebrating milestones, and encouraging one another has been such a gift. Bridget is a true light — bright, faithful, attentive to others’ needs, and full of love. Emily is so grateful for this beautiful friendship and couldn’t imagine the day without her.
