We actually met online over Snapchat, a friend of Emily posted about her on their snap and of course I added her. We spent months talking to each other back and forth and seeing each other. The first time we actually met face to face was when I was heading to work and brought her some breakfast at her house. On July 26th we went on our first date to see a very average horror movie, but we had the best time because we was with each other. So if it wasn't for her friend, we probably would have not met each other!

The proposal itself was nothing too special, no fireworks and no one playing instruments. It was the setup to the proposal that was so great. It was on Christmas Day and I decided to get her some boxes that when opened would have a question on the inside. All of them were about our relationship like how we met, first kiss, and so on. So pretty much it was a quiz show to see how much she remembers about our relationship. When she got a question right she would get a letter that would eventually spell out "Marry Me?". Of course it took her a little bit to put the letters in the right order but after my mom gave us a ornament for our engagement that will be used on our Christmas tree.
