Wait, so is this a wedding?

This is our formal wedding reception celebrating our marriage! We eloped, just the two of us, in New Orleans, and we are thrilled to now celebrate with you locally. Dinner, snacks, and drinks will be served, along with entertainment throughout the evening. We can’t wait to share this special occasion together!

Are kids welcome?

We adore your little ones, but to keep the reception intimate and stress-free, we kindly ask that only infants (lap-held or nursing) attend. We hope this gives parents a night to relax and celebrate with us. A private space will be available for nursing or a quiet moment if needed, just ask Emily or Nick or a venue staff member for information.

We’ll have plenty of fun activities for you to enjoy throughout the evening, including casino tables, a character artist, and a psychic. No additional money is needed for any of these. Come ready to relax and have a great time! Plus, there will be a special prize for the guest who “earns” the most casino money by the end of the night.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request cocktail or semi-formal attire for the reception. We would love for guests to wear black to create a cohesive look with our celebration. However, please do not feel any need to purchase new clothing or break the bank — if you don’t have black, patterns or other colors are perfectly fine. Truly, come as you are. Your presence, comfort, and joy mean the most to us!
