Emily is an Army brat and Army veteran who grew up in Germany, exploring every corner of Europe with her family. She later commissioned as a Field Artillery Officer and spent four adventurous years serving in the Army before transitioning to her current role as an Executive Assistant at Seacoast Church in Mount Pleasant, where she and Nick attend. In her free time, Emily loves co-leading her small group for late 20s/early 30s (where she and Nick met!). She also serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Programs for Francis + Benedict, a nonprofit that supports women and children in Togo, West Africa. Emily has visited Togo four times and can't wait to go back someday soon, this time with Nick!

Nick was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he developed a lifelong love for the Vols. After graduating from University of Tennessee, he moved to Charleston with his best friend, Chase, looking for a fresh start and a new adventure. Today, he works as a Senior Business Development Representative with Propelus. Nick loves playing pickleball, cheering on Tennessee football, and cooking for Emily. He's especially excited for all the simple joys of married life, from sharing meals in their future kitchen to building a home and life together.

Audrey is Emily's sister, first friend, and forever bestie. These two have been inseparable from the very beginning, sharing countless memories, adventures, and life's biggest moments together. Emily wouldn't be the woman she is today without Audrey's love and support, and there is no one she would rather have standing beside her on her wedding day.
Kirby Affeldt

Kirby is Emily's favorite adventure queen from her Army days in Colorado. The two were stationed together at Fort Carson with the 4th Infantry Division and were roommates for over a year. From skiing and hiking through the Rockies to making unforgettable memories together, they packed plenty of adventure into their time in Colorado. Though they now live miles apart, they still find ways to chase new adventures whenever they can.

Erin and Emily have been best friends since sixth grade, when they first met at middle school in Belgium. Through every season of life, Erin has remained a constant friend, whether through annual visits, long phone calls, or cheering each other on from afar. Her loyal friendship and unwavering support mean the world to Emily, and she's honored to have Erin by her side on her wedding day.

Cianna and Emily met while working together at Seacoast Church and quickly became fast friends when Emily joined the team. They are now roommates and confidants, sharing life in Charleston as they co-lead a growing small group for people in their late 20s and early 30s. They love doing life together and making the most of their Charleston days. Emily is so grateful to have Cianna by her side!

Emily and B became close friends while roommates in Colorado Springs. Since then, they have supported each other through changing seasons of life and filled their time together with countless adventures and plenty of at-home hangouts. A trusted sounding board in life and faith, and a fellow New Girl binger, B is a joyful and meaningful part of the wedding party.

Sara and Emily attended sixth grade together in Belgium and have been friends ever since. From family ski trips to baby showers, they have shared many seasons of life and built a friendship that has grown stronger over the years. Sara is a steady and cherished friend! She would be at the wedding, but is giving birth to her baby girl over the wedding weekend. She is an honorary bridesmaid!
