Hotel
We were able to secure a great rate at the hotel especially for our guests. The rate is available from Friday the 24th to Monday the 27th, so feel free to spend more than one night in Richmond if you want to make a weekend of it! Please book by April 25th to get the wedding rate. We strongly encourage you to make your reservation as early as possible at our hotel, as it is both the most conveniently-located and Memorial Day weekend regularly sees hotel sellout conditions in downtown Richmond. Rooms can be booked up to quadruple-occupancy and payment may be split by guests upon check-out. One guest staying in the room must make the room reservation with a major credit card, but will not be charged upon reservation. We have asked the hotel to accommodate early check-in for as many rooms as possible to allow everyone time to get ready by 5 pm.
Travel Note
. Since we are getting married in a working train station, we can't pass up the opportunity to let our guests arrive by train right in the venue! Amtrak provides direct train service to Richmond from Washington, D.C., BWI Airport, New Carrollton and Baltimore! There are two daily trains that serve Main Street Station. If you are staying one night in Richmond, we recommend taking Train 65 (arrives at 9:30 am Sunday) giving you plenty of time to explore the city before the wedding, and Train 94 (departs at 10:16 am Monday). Check out the Amtrak website for more information and make sure to book your tickets to Richmond Main Street Station (RVM).
Flight
By far the easiest (and closest) airport to the venue is Richmond International Airport (RIC). Unfortunately, our little airport is not always the cheapest option. If you are having trouble finding flights to Richmond, try Baltimore (BWI), Washington National (DCA) or Washington Dulles (IAD). BWI has direct rail service to Richmond (3.5 hours) 9 times daily. DCA is a 2 hour drive or 2:15 by train 9 times daily (from the Alexandria, VA station). IAD is a 2.5 hour drive from Richmond.
