From biggest bully to one of my best man at my wedding. What a complete 180 our relationship has taken from when we were kids to what we are now. I'm sure being a big brother to a sensitive nerd who likes anime and collected every embarrassing 90's collectable couldn't have been easy. I think my Dad summed up our childhood best when he would yell "Rob stop beating up your brother and Nick stop being a P****.”

One of my UDel besties. My roommate from Manayunk running around having fun like all the cool kids did after college. The excitement never stops hanging out with her. We've had tons of great adventures. Keep your eyes peeled for her on the dance floor with her sweet moves.

Things were always simpler and quieter with us. We had so many of the same interests like Pokémon Cards, Harry Potter, Dragon Ball Z, and every Nintendo game you can think of. Countless hours trying to find the next rare item either in the game or in life. Listening to the Harry Potter books or going to see the movies in theaters are the memories I cherish the most. My favorite game to play when we're out together is when people confuse us for twins and we tell them no three years apart and ask them who is the younger one.....I usually win.

My sister-in-law and now neighbor down the road in Media. She has always been super welcoming and inclusive. We've spent a number of game nights, skiing days, and impromptu hangouts together with more to come. She's my go-to nutrition guru and a great resource for a good recipe.

There are family and friends, but then there are friends who become family. We have known each other since we were in pre-school. I know what you see today are "young", sophisticated, cool guys, but that wasn’t always the case. Far from it in fact. No one liked movies, video games, and cartoons more than we did and we still really like all those things now actually. I guess things haven't changed much except now we're better dressers. He taught me how to buy the right size clothes and how girls don't like super hero characters on the front of a shirt. Besides Batman of course because he's bad ass.

Kristin and Rob were some of the first of Nick's family I met. I knew right away we would be fast friends. We bonded over our connection to UDel and quickly found people we both knew. She definitely has way cooler UDel gear than I do so I gotta step up my game.

As most of you know family is very important to Emily and I. We knew from the beginning we wanted our wedding party to be full of our families. Both of us are very close to our siblings. He is so caring and ready to drop anything to lend a helping hand. Thank you for choosing to live in Media too because I never would have gotten Emily out of the city otherwise!

Candice is very kind and always offering to help and support Nick and I. We both like to talk about planting and gardening. Candice always has the newest gadget-y thing. If you see small green dots stuck to outdoor furniture, no worries they're to keep the mosquitos away.

Being the collector I am I was excited to have Christian, the founding father to enter the Watts family, be apart of our wedding party. The first time I met Emily's family she was running late from work, so I had to introduce myself to everyone on Mothers Day 2020, at the start of COVID, with masks on, outside, socially distant for the better part of an hour before she got there. Talk about trial by fire. He gave me a lifeline as we nerded out on our favorite Marvel movies. He has made me feel welcome in their family from the start. Not all super heroes wear capes. Thanks for saving me that day!

The apple of our eye, June is the coolest kid we know. She loves her family so much and regularly facetimes us to see what's going on. She's creative and always learning and teaching us new stuff. For now we're still really cool and I hope that never changes.

Officiant title doesn't give the role enough gravitas. Master of Ceremonies. Father Brent. Referend Brent. Pastor Brent. I don't know you get the point. Emily and I are so lucky to have two amazing friends like Sara (see above) and Brent. Between game nights, quarantine bubble hangouts, and vacations we have seen it and done it together. He will be the perfect person to give you the insider look at how our relationship has grown. He will make you laugh and most definitely make you cry.
