We have the University of Rhode Island to thank for bringing us together. In 2018, Nick was Emily's URI 101 Student Mentor during Emily's freshman year and Nick's sophomore year. We reconnected in late 2020, at this time we started seeing each other socially which progressed into a loving relationship.
