Things To Do

While you're in town, check out some of our favorite Triangle spots:

Accordion Club

316 West Geer Street, Durham, NC 27701

Our favorite dive: we came here on our first date! Get a Christmas dog or one of their artisanal Jello shots.

Burial Beer Co.

500 East Davie Street, Raleigh, NC 27601

Nehemiah's favorite Raleigh beer spot.

Broken Spoke Farm

5601 Saint Marys Road, Hillsborough, NC 27278

This farm sells two flavors of homemade soft serve every weekend: you can watch the farm animals while enjoying your cone. A must after an Eno hike!

Cook Out

A North Carolina classic: any location will do, but if you want the authentic Cook Out experience, it should be a drive-thru. Highly recommend getting a tray--and yes, a corn dog IS a side.

The Durham Hotel

315 East Chapel Hill Street, Durham, NC 27701

Drinks on the roof of the Durham are a quintessential Bull City experience.

Carolina Basketball Museum

450 Skipper Bowles Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27514

Duh.

Sarah P. Duke Gardens

420 Anderson Street, Durham, NC 27708

Probably the only Duke-related activity we'll ever endorse.

Eno River State Park

The Eno has several trailheads throughout Durham and a nice variety of hikes. The Fews Ford + Cole Mill access points are only a few minutes from our house: we spent nearly every Sunday hiking here in 2020.

William B. Umstead State Park

8801 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27617

Another favorite local hike! We usually do the Company Mill Trail, followed by burgers from MoJoe's in Raleigh.
